Mangalore: Paldane Parish Celebrates Birth Centenary of Mother Teresa

Mangalore, Aug 25: The birth centenary of Mother Teresa was celebrated at the sole parish dedicated to Mother Teresa in the diocese at Paldane, on Wednesday August 25. 

Fr G W Vaz, Paldane parish priest, offered the Holy Mass. 

Fr Alwyn Serrao, principal, Rosario Pre-University College, in his homily, said that Mother Teresa was an ambassador of peace and urged the faithful to follow her ideals in curbing violence in the world. 

An hour of adoration of the Holy Sacrament was held on the occasion for world peace. 

A large number of parishioners were present on the occasion.
