Bantwal, Jun 7: Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik paid a surprise visit to the revenue inspector’s office and conducted an inspection on Monday morning following complaints that files are not getting disposed of on time and people are made to visit the office at the Mini Vidhan Soudha repeatedly. He was accompanied by tahsildar Rashmi S R.
The MLA asked the staff to work efficiently. "The people should be called and explained if the files are kept pending for technical reasons,” he said.
“Respond to all those who visit the office for issues. Serve the public effectively and efficiently," the MLA told the officials.
Tahsildar Rashmi obtained details from the revenue department and directed the officers that the work should be performed without giving room for complaints from people. Pavan Kumar, private assistant of the MLA was present.
