Panaji: Governor invites applications for GU vice-chancellor post

Panaji, Jun 11: The Goa governor and chancellor of Goa University have invited applications from academicians who have over 10 years of experience, for the post of vice-chancellor. The authorities have initiated the process of identifying a new candidate as the term of current vice-chancellor ends in August.

To express their interest in the position, the governor has asked the applicants to write in by July 9. The term of the current vice-chancellor of Goa University Varun Sahni ends in August.

The governor has said that the applicants will be invited for a personal interview with the search committee constituted by the governor and the university chancellor.
