Mysuru: Six-year-old boy dies after coconut tree falls on him while playing

Mysuru, Jun 13: In a tragic incident, a six-year-old boy lost his life after a coconut tree got uprooted and crashed on him.

The unfortunate boy has been identified as Abhay (6).

The incident happened at Kupparahalli village in Nanjangud taluk.

The boy was playing in the garden opposite his house when the tragedy took place.

He was playing cricket along with his sister in a garden in front of his house, when the coconut tree suddenly fell on him, it is said. He died on the spot.

His sister was injured in the incident. She has been hospitalised.

A case has been registered in Biligere police station in this regard.

    very very sad .what a tragic.Did this tree wait till the boy came under to play to fall?Such incident happens very rare that coconut tree falls over humans unless very strong cyclone comes.Heartfelt sympathy to the family.May this boys soul rest with angels.Kindly take one more look in your surroundings if any other coconut tress are in a bad stage without proper roots in the underground ,so that not another tragody happens.Hope the girl is in good health

    May the little Angel rest in peace with the other Angels. Regretfully, the disagree button is hit depending on who has commented! The morally deranged person must be waiting for a peepal tree to fall on him so that he may get moksha. Just can't understand the mentality of these people.
