In my childhood my grandmother always used to tell us that those who die in the month of Shravan directly go in heaven, because during this month the doors of heaven remain open. I think Padamshri Ravindra Kelekar's soul must have directly entered the heavenly world and from there, he will be looking at us.
I along with the other executive committee members of Konkani Bhasha Mandal was personally present for the last rituals of Ravindrabab.

A big loss to the Konkani world. May His Soul rest in peace. We should appreciate Govt of Goa for arranging the funeral with full state honour. A honour to a great Konkani literature by a Konkani state.
