Mangaluru: Door-to-door vaccination facility for those who cannot come out - DC Dr Rajendra

Mangaluru, Jun 18: Deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra KV on Friday, June 18 announced free vaccines to the disabled, elderly and to the people who cannot come out of their house.
 
In collaboration with Dakshina Kannada district administati0on, Indian Red Cross, Rotary Club Mangaluru, and Bank of Baroda, the health workers will go door-to-door to vaccinate people who cannot come out of their house. The district administration has urged the public to register their names on dk.nic.in
 
After registration, the health workers will visit their houses and administer the vaccines.
 
 
 
The vehicle for the purpose will be flagged on Saturday, June 19 at 9.30 am on the premises of University College in Hampankatta.

    Door to door vaccinatie decision is very good for some people I’m salute to our DC and it’s very helpful for who not come to vaccinations Center my father have lungs problems now it’s easy for 2 dose

    It is a good initiative. But there are hundreds if not thousands in the villages - aged and mostly unattended, how can they be covered for vaccination.. Please pay attention to villages also.

    Now after so many months got up to have door-to- door vaccination facility. Many lives would have been saved if this was planned earlier. This registration is all bogus so many people have been vaccinated both doses without registration at Wenlock.
