M'lore: Motivational Training to Youth of Bambil Parish Held

Mangalore, Sep 1: The Bambil parish unit of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) organized youth convention and motivational training to its youth members at Bambil parish hall here, recently. 

Fr Vincent Coelho, parish priest of Bambil parish inaugurated the convention. The chief guest Fr Anil D’Souza, director of ICYM called upon the youth to work hard and put cohesive efforts to become a good and responsible citizen of India.

The resource person Dr Ronald Cutinha, director of Samanvaya conducted the training and explained the reasons for youth problems and described the present situation of the youth through various incidents, stories and PowerPoint presentation. 

Participants took active part in group discussion and presentation.

ICYM women co-ordinator Sr Michel B S and parish vice-president Casmir D’Souza were present.

ICYM president Lionel Rodrigues welcomed and introduced the guests, secretary Rajesh Pinto proposed the vote of thanks and Felita Rodrigues compeered the programme.

In all 40 youth participated in the programme. The games, quiz competion and other entertainment activities were conducted in the afternoon by Bro Peter Gonsalves, Gilpin and Melwyn.
