Kasargod, Sep 2: In an accident that occurred at Taliparamba here on Wednesday September 1 morning, four persons including three students, lost their lives.
A bus moving to Kannur from Payyannur, hit a bus that had been stopped near a bus shelter on national highway 17. The second bus moved ahead and hit a bus shelter, resulting in crashing of the concrete roof of the shelter. All the deceased were standing at the bus shelter, when the roof crashed on them.
The deceased have been identified as Khadeeja (15), Rizwana (15) and Kunhamina (15), tenth standard students of Taliparmba Seedi Shahid Memorial higher secondary school, and Khader from Kozhikode.
