Bengaluru, Jun 25: Karnataka on Friday, June 25 registered 3,310 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 1,07,195. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally has come down to 614 new cases.
As many as 114 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Friday, with Bengaluru Urban alone recording 17 deaths and Ballari 9. With this, the death toll so far has risen to 34,539.
The state recorded 6,524 discharges from hospitals, taking the total discharges so far to 26,84,997.
So far, Karnataka has seen 28,26,754 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.09% while the case fatality rate for the day is 3.44%.
As many as 2,12,39,768 people have received vaccination so far.
