Mangalore: Presidency School's Brush with Former Prez Kalam

Mangalore, Sep 4: "Learning is a process which will continue with presidency till death and knowledge gives you wings to fly," said former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam.

He was addressing the students at an interactive session organized by Presidency Group of institutions, recently. Teachers and students of grade 9 and 10 of Presidency School, Mangalore had the unique opportunity of being part of this memorable event.

Creativity righteousness is the heart, courage and indomitable spirit put together defined the equation of knowledge, said Dr Kalam. He added that this lends beauty to character, harmony in the home and order in the nation.

The session saw an enthusiastic lot of children being led by Dr Kalam in a pledge .They took a 10point oath to enlightened citizenship.

Principals of all the presidency schools, director Thangadurai, management representative Nafeesa Ahmed and Suhail Ahmed among other dignitaries were present.
