Mangaluru, Jun 29: Well-known personality in Coastalwood, actor-director Roopesh Shetty, distributed grocery kits and vegetables to over 5,000 needy individuals and families, during the lockdown following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Roopesh and his team distributed grocery and vegetable kits among needy people for the past 45 days.
Speaking to Daijiworld, Roopesh thanked the people who contributed to the noble cause in helping the needy.
He also lauded his friends and volunteers for coming forward in helping the poor. He further thanked the public for supporting his work in helping people in need.
Inspired by him, few actors and people in the public domain, have come forward to help the needy during the lockdown. As an actor, without confining himself only for entertainment, Roopesh has extended his hand to help the needy during this time of distress.
