Beltangady: Declining Covid cases - 'DK to have lockdown relaxations,' says Kota Srinivas Poojary

Beltangady, Jun 30: District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary on Wednesday, June 30 said that as the number of Covid-19 cases is declining in the district, the chief minister was urged to ease the lockdown restrictions. "It is likely that the state government will issue an official order in this regard on Thursday, Jul 1," the minister said.

Speaking to media persons in Kokkada, Beltangady, Kota Poojary said, "The Covid-19 positivity rate has fallen below 5 per cent in the district. Following this, all shops will be allowed to run their businesses from 7 am to 5 pm."

"A decision in this regard has already been taken. However, either by evening today or tomorrow, an official order will be issued," he added.

    Mr. Kota Srinivas Pujary means well to help the people> However it is also stated that a third variant of Covid may strike soon and therefore people have to understand and cooperate. Let us hope for the best.

    I appreciate Mr Poojary's Simplicity and his political strength ..He is the Ideal candidate for CM post. It will do a lot good to this region and karnataka in particular.

    first put a ban on these gatherings ( fix the covid from inside) No more election rallies by maskless political group No more protests in front of DC office by maskless idiots No more mega religious gatherings
