Udupi district bags first place in 'Sakala' implementation

Udupi, Jul 3: 'Sakala' scheme of the government has been successfully implemented in the district. As far as disposal of 'Sakala' application for the month of June this year is concerned, the district has emerged in first place in the entire state.

Time of three days to one month were given for the disposal of applications. In particular, revenue and other departments have worked very well.

Ranks are allotted to districts depending on their performance in four parameters, disposal of applications submitted online earlier than the time fixed for them, disposal of overdue applications, rejection of applications, and receipt of highest application per one lac population.

Many from the district submitted their applications by 'Sakala', and the officials disposed of most of them before the due date, and did not reject many. Because of these things, the district has been ranked at the top.

Deputy commissioner of the district, G Jagadeesha, has congratulated all the officials and other staff for helping the district to get first place in rendering 'Sakala' service for the month of June.
