Karkala, Jul 10: “Radhakrishna, resident of Hirgana, Karkala, should be arrested immediately. Congress party is resorting to protest against the police, who called him for inquiry on the accusation of treachery. If the Congress workers are going to protest in favour of this traitor, we are going to get on the district in 10 times more in number supporting the action of the police and the soldiers of this country,” said Prakash Kukkehalli, chief secretary of Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV), Mangaluru division.
Prakash spoke at the press conference held in the press club of the city on Saturday July 10. He further said, “Radhakrishna is a professional criminal. Congress always supports traitors. They are trying to get an honest police sub inspector (SI) suspended. They are trying to project Radhakrishna as a freedom fighter by making false allegations against the SI.
“It is really shameful that Congress leaders like former chief minister Siddaramaiah and state Congress president D K Shivakumar are defending Radhakrishna, who wished for the death of Indian soldiers and made a post on social media in favour of Pakistani soldiers, as their worker.
“The alleged assault done on Radhakrishna is a fabricated story. He went home after the inquiry. He was admitted to the hospital by Congress leaders themselves. This is not the first time that a case has been registered against Radhakrishna Nayak Hirgana. Earlier also, a case of making an obscene post of a woman and trying to malign her was registered against him in Bengaluru.
“If the controversial post is not made by Radhakrishna, why has the Congress party not given a statement against those who have posted the comment? What is the reason for removing derogatory posts?
“Let the Congress party give any kind of statements within the limits of political issues. We do not object. But if they try to resort to politics in the name of country and Hindu religion, they will have to face HJV directly,” he said.
Leaders of district HJV Rajesh Ucchila, Praveen Hirematha, Rikesh Palan and Mahesh Bailoor were present.
