Additional staff have been posted there.

Check posts have been installed at ten placed along the district border within the limits of the district police. Check posts have started functioning at Saradka, Salethur and Kanyana within Vittal police station limits, Menala, Swarga and Sulliapadavu within Puttur rural station limits, and Muroor, Mandekolu, Baddadka and Kannadithodu within Sullia station limits.
