Rahul was sleeping next to his father who was unwell. When his mother checked at around 2 am, she found Rahul missing. The family began to search for Rahul and finally found his body in the well.

Friends, Its very easy to comment on someone else's tragedy. Even more easier to make judgements about people we know nothing about. So it is my appeal to each one to take a step back and just try to be with them in their pain even if you cannot understand it.If people could just change things by changing their mindset, we wouldn't have had so many suicides . Put yourself in their shoes just for a minute. If they could change their situation , they would. But at most times, people who are ready to take their life are at their life's lowest point, they have been putting up a face just for other people and are all miserable inside. They feel alone, worthless and some feel they are burdening their family. They are not in their senses at all. Im sure all of us may remember a time, we have felt sad and upset or let down by someone. But we may bounce back because we may have people who support us , understand us or we ourselves fight that moment of weakness. So instead of commenting insensitively, Let put our energies constructively and just check in on the people around us. If you see someone sad or depressed, just be there with them, as a friend. Your mere presence can help divert their mind sometimes. Reach out and casually check if they are okay. You may just save a life. There are so many of us counsellors who are busy 24X7 because we are not enough torch out to people. We need your help, just spread smiles and care and you will feel so good to make a difference in someone's life. Try it. It feels awesome !

Well said Divya. People are simply commenting without knowing the deceased or his family, or what pain they are going through. Can anyone imagine the anguish and pain the parents & family going through? Can you? Some comments are truly heartless and very ignorant to such situations. If one cannot give consoling, prayerful comments just refrain from commenting. Its not one's life but someone else's and how these comments will scar his loved ones one dont know.

As a friend of close proximity to Rahul and as most of his friends do know him, we know Rahul didn't take this step because of the bike. Rahul was a bold as well as soft spoken guy. Whatever he owned was brought by his own money, and he was also taking care of his parents too. Whatever step he has taken IS NOT BECAUSE OF THE BIKE AND AILING PARENTS. Please keep your theories to your pockets. Yes suicide is not a end to problems, we all agree. But please a humble request, don't assume anything and comment without any knowledge.

Suicide is an extreme step of depression. All the reasons quoted are just an instigation or stimulus for a person undergoing depression to attempt suicide. The youth should be educated in appropriate age to identify the problem and to seek medical help. The general public are ignorant about this illness.

He isn't this way I know he would never do this because of bike of 4lac. I don't believe he committed suicide I think it is a murder. Someone must have inflicted pain of trauma on him.

Parents should teach their children, before reaching teenage, that they have to earn their living after their education. Even during the time of high school level, during holidays, child should be encouraged to work for their school fees and pocket money. Very sad.

Perhaps all comments are from heart or whatever, but without knowing the deceased or his family, how can anyone comment so inhumanely. Can you imagine the anguish and pain the parents & family are going through right now? Can you? Dont you think the parents, family & friends must be wondering what happened and why such an extreme step?? But voicing comments such as parents should teach a child, he is fool and other similar comments etc. are heartless comments and very ignorant to such situation. If you cannot give consoling, prayerful comments just refrain from commenting. Its not your life but someone else's life and how your comments will scar his loved ones you dont know. No one knows all the facts even what is mentioned in this report too and people just are very generous in voicing their comments in a very irresponsible way. People who knows Rahul & his parents know how they were a such a close loving family. His friends knew him being brave and helping others in such situation. Only God knows what happened in his weakest moment and do please pray for him and his parents. Such situations calls for us to be humane and not irresponsible.

Daijiworld thanks for putting a note below advising that suicide is not a solution. Hats off to you and I am sure it will send a message to everyone and assist them. Are there or is there a phone number they can turn too for help which might save ones life and if yes can you add the phone number too. Like I know countries like Australia they always warn individuals if they feel uneasy or in distress call Organisations called Lifeline and they provide a telephone number.

He wanted to show off the life as a young chap !! but life is not that easy ! look at around you there are many many sufferings in life ! and that is called life. see the animals or other creatures how they live without any complaint and depression only we the human being are born /brought that way. Suicide is not a solution ! YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR MINDSET ! You are responsible for everything and nobody else. Your existence is more important than any other things which can be made if you are live..

Mr Gurka None of us are sure what exactly he was going through,so its not right on our part to blame or shame the deceased person. Also depression, suicide and to that matter any mental illness cannot treated by changing “mindset” .I do agree that suicide is not a solution. But many of us fail to understand that an individual who attempts / dies by suicide often thinks of himself or herself as a problem /burden to the family and society at large . Its the society and not the individual suffering from a mental illness that needs to change their mindset and myths regarding suicide and depression.

Mr. Gurka, its better if you stay quite rather than posting such stupid comments. The reason for his suicide is still unknown, nobody knows what he was going through, me being his friend for 12 years had no clue whatsoever. The bike theory has just been created by someone that nobody knows, he had already paid the downpayment for bike and had enough money to spend.. You should refrain yourself from commenting on topics which you have no clue about.. Rather than running your mouth here, do something needful, help poor people..

He owned a studio. His father is unwell. How come he asks for a bike from parents under such circumstances though he is self earning ? I feel very sorry at the shortness of his life. Nevertheless, RIP Rahul. Hope youngsters who look upto him as a role model get comforted in their loss, so do the parents the strength to move on in life.

Deshbhakt mangalore ,I fully agree with you.Bike is not a must when he doesnt have money. It is become a prestige vehicle for youngsters nowadays.Unfortunately many lives are lost with bike accidents than corona I feel .He must have felt father is not well ,he will not buy any more .But never thought of his own responsibility to look after his mother during father is sick but bike.Sorry he is no more.but things have happened so.Feel really sorry for mother.one side young son suicide other side husband not well.what will be her future situation.Heartfelt sympathy to this mother May God give enough strength to bear the pain.may his soul rest.If he wanted it could have taken loan from bank and paid each month certain amount what he is earning.where ther e is a will then also a way.
