This is just a tip of the iceberg. Lots of such cases are happening but victims cannot complain against those corrupt police personnel. Here the street vendor did not give up and his willingness to fight those rowdies in khaki uniform got him justice. Just suspension of these cops is not sufficient, they should be made to pay compensation to the vendor. The vendor is an inspiration for all of us.

JUSTICE is common for all. The Commissioner of Police Mr. Kamal Pant is known to render justice to all people irrespective of their status. It is not easy to penalize a member of The Police Department but JUSTICE IS COMMON FOR ALL and this is a factor which the senior official Mr. Pant has always at the back of his mind. I join scores of people in saying kudos to Mr. Kamal Pant.

Since the statement clearly says "they forced him to use a cigarette containing ganja", this indicates police personnel were in possession of drug and are involved in drug peddling. They have to be booked under Narcotic case well.

Allen mangalore,no transfers direct in jail.Otherwise they will play their wicked game wherever they go.Shame shame to them Police have to protect people from others or evils. Here they themselves are involved in it and make innocents to commit suicide.Bringing bad name to their profession.Police are usually seen as efficient , correct people :Here when police or govt officers are not suppose any wrongs in any way suppose they commit such, then out of govt duty, their pension will be reduced or not given .punishment too is given.Their grad is lowered. No sitting in bars in uniform ,and drinkng.,treat the arrested with due respect,no beating ,scolding.even in driving take care not to go against the speed limit.even in private or in duty.Except in emergency .

Kindly don't suspend these. Better to sack them immediately from the Service itself. If you Suspend them somehow these will get some Political influence for re-entry to make more money. Collecting Bribe one of the major serious issue in this Country and why cannot make a full stop to this dirty activities. These Police people never allow a small vegetable vendor also. Every day they are collecting and there will be burden on General Public. This News already in Today's TIMES OF INDIA News Paper.

Just wondering if these are the same policemen who behaved rudely with the public during lockdown time. Just throw them in jail and let them work somewhere else. It is a shame to have police personnel of such attitude.

Suspend? We always here this meaningless word suspension when it comes to police personal..... In private organizations, there is nothing such as suspension, but direct termination.... So why not such things apply to these culprits here? Permanent termination from duty is the right option as it deters other from committing such acts...
