Udupi: Yediyurappa’s resignation disheartening - MLA Raghupati Bhat

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (EP)

Udupi, Jul 26: “B S Yediyurappa has ruled as chief minister for two years. His resignation has left party activists disheartened. His administration has defeated floods and Corona pandemic difficulties. He has extended help at the coastal district. I am grateful to him. The next chief minister is likely to be elected in the next legislative meeting after obtaining our opinions,” said Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat on Monday July 26.

He further said, “Yediyurappa shed tears during his resignation. Tears are shed only by sensitive people. They do not come to business minded cruel people with no feelings. It is natural for Yediyurappa to shed tears. D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah are stone hearted. So they do not get tears. Yediyurappa did not resign due to pressure but only after gladly accepting the principles of the party.

“Regarding the next chief minister, we need a leader who will develop the coastal region in the state. A person that takes bold decisions should be elected for the post. He should be strong enough to get work by the officials,” he said.
