Mumbai: Worli bungalow bought by Surat-based diamond firm for Rs 185 crore

Mumbai, Aug 1: Surat-based diamond firm by Harikrishna Exports Private Limited has bought Worli bungalow from Arkay Holdings Limited for a whopping Rs 186 crore. The property measures 19,886 square feet. ‘Panhar bungalow’ consists of a basement and ground-plus-six storied structure located opposite Worli sea face.

This is one of the largest transactions in recent times.

The buyer Savji has been in news for gifting his employees with gifts like cars, houses as well as jewellery. In 2018, he gifted cars to 600 of his employees and Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over the keys to some of the beneficiaries in Delhi.

Recently in April Founder of DMart, Radhakishan Damani, bought a two-storeyed bungalow by paying ?1,001 crore situated in Malabar Hill area paying stamp duty of ?30.03 crore for this property.
