Mangalore: CODP Holds Training Programme

Mangalore, Sep 17: A training programme on food preservation, entrepreneurial development, nutritious food and home remedy was organized by CODP at its hall near Padua High School here on September 17. 

The programme was organized in association with agricultural department, Dakshina Kannada district panchayat, Ashika, an NGO and self help groups namely Sri Guru Mangala , Sri Varalakshmi  and Sri lakshmi.

Taluk panchayat president Ramachandra Kumpala inaugurated the programme while Nantoor corporator Roopa D Bangera presided. Bharatiya Yuva Pratishtana, New Delhi district co-ordinator Ramakant and horticulture department district panchayat deputy director Sadashiva Rao were the chief guests.

Horticulture Farming Research Centre expert Dr Raviraj Setty, assistant agricultural officer Jenifer Laveena Fernandes, programme organizer Satish Maben and Ashika director Sumitra Karant were the resource persons.
