Mangalore, Sep 20: A truck carrying Nandini brand milk products of Karnataka Milk Federation tripped and fell on its side while negotiating a bend at Kulshekhar in the city during the wee hours on Monday September 20.

The truck suffered some damages, while a huge quantity of milk and milk products flowed on to the road, as the plastic sachets in which they were stored, burst open due to the impact. The driver as well as his helper, who were in the truck at the time of the accident, escaped with minor injuries.

The loss due to the mishap is yet to be assessed.
