Kasargod: District administration sets up Covid testing centre at Talapady

Kasargod, Aug 5: As Covid negative test certificate is made compulsory to travel to Karnataka from Kerala, Kasargod district administration has decided to provide all the necessary facilities to solve the problems of people at Talapady test centre. Arrangements for tests are made at Vishwas Auditorium in three batches.

The test reports will be made available in a day through mobile phones. The report can also be downloaded from labsys.health.keral.gov.in website the next day of tests.

Mangalpady taluk hospital has taken the leadership of tests. District medical officer Dr A V Ramadas, taluk hospital head Dr Shan T, Officer Dr Nirmal, Dr Prasad Thomas, Abdul Latif and others will be in charge.

As many as 685 people were tested positive in the district on Thursday and 768 people were discharged. A total of 7,558 are under treatment and 27,906 are under observation. A total of 1,11,172 have been tested positive so far. As many as 1,03.034 are under observation.
