Mangalore Sep 23: Prapata a movie based on the story of Anekal Subraya Shastri, the first man to invent aeroplane and fly it will be screened at Bharitiya Vidyabhavan on Sunday September 26.
Addressing the gathering renowned artist Gopadkar said that the movie “Prapata” directed by K Suchendra Prasad will be shown under “voicing silence” an international forum and discussion. It will be screened at 3.30 pm.
The movie is based on the life story of a person who first flew the aeroplane, but was buried in the pages of history without coming to light.
The programme is organized in collaboration with Association of British Scholars, Swaroopa Adhyana Samooha, Bharatiya Vidyabhavan and Karavali Belli Mandala.
Prominent artistes, writers, thinkers and professors will be present at the programme and the entry for the movie will be free.
