Mangaluru, Aug 23: All India Youth Congress president B V Srinivas termed C T Ravi ‘insane’ for his remarks over Congress leaders and said that he is ready to bear expenses for his medication.

Addressing media here on Monday August 23, B V Srinivas said, “C T Ravi needs to learn about Jawaharlal Nehru before passing any kind of remarks. Ravi tries to impress Prime Minister Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda with such statements so that he gets the state chief minister’s post. Ravi is insane and Congress are ready to send him abroad and bear the expenses for his treatment.”

“Our country is facing unemployment issue. The prime minister has failed to fulfill the promises he made during 2014 elections. Business tycoons like Adani and Ambani are enjoying their 'Acche Din' but not the common man. There is also a slogan ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ from the BJP. The question is from whom the daughters should be saved? We should save them from BJP leaders.

The government has taken this country 20 years backward in terms of progress. We will make an arrangement to have a dialogue with Manmohan Singh and seek suggestions from him,” he said.

State Youth Congress president Raksha Ramaiah said, “The BJP government will not last longer as we will ensure that Congress will come back to power. We will work for it.”

MLA U T Khader, former district Youth Congress president Mithun Rai and others were present.
