Kasargod: 'Will provide good administration' - PFI expresses confidence in Taliban

Kasargod, Aug 25: Kerala unit of Popular Front of India (PFI) has said that it is confident about the fact that the Taliban, which resisted American forces in Afghanistan, will provide good administration in Afghanistan.

It noted that similar resistances had also been witnessed against the American forces in Vietnam and Bolivia.

"We should not view the Taliban with prejudice. If Pakistan has to be kept away from Afghanistan, India should establish diplomatic relationship with the Taliban, said PFI leader and national executive committee member, Parappurathu Koya, as reported by a news channel.

It may be recalled, the Taliban, a militant group that ran the country in the late 1990s, took control of Afghanistan yet again. The US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 ousted the insurgents from power, but they never left. After they blitzed across the country in recent days, the Western-backed government that has run the country for 20 years collapsed. Afghans, fearing for the future, are trying to leave the country.

    Oh really..! Who killed around 9 million people either direct or indirect in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, Pakistan, Libya and India from 2000 to 2021? As usual tone, all terrorist died in direct or indirect war, then who the hell are million souls sacrificed during 1st and 2nd World war. Need to remove poison from mind, seems whole world will be peaceful.

    Even Afghanis are hanging on to flights to come to India. All Indians in Afghan including minoriities want to come back to India by hook or by crook. And here we have these guys advocating for Afghanistan,, Why dont you guys go there and settle. Its time to show your words in action and create an example.

Sonia Sebastin, Merin Jacob, Nimisha from Kasargod who have all gone to Afghanisthan to live an Islamic life were languishing in jail with toddlers gifted by their Jihadi husband (s?). Their whereabouts are unknown after Taliban took over. Meanwhile their parents have approached the INdian supreme court to bring them back to India of all the places. If Afghanistan was so rosy why bring them back.Why cant these parents go and settle with there? You can advocate them.

    If Taliban could play submissive role to Pak-China nexus they may rule for short term... For long term stability, they will have to open diplomatic missions and do business as usual. They have no money like Saudi Arabia to implement their will and soon they will run out of food and medicines. They simply don't have the capacity to educate people other than Madrasa's. In todays world you just can't remain immune to outside world. pressure is immense and they will brittle. rampant killing will proceed like the old Taliban. They will be the big losers if they keep India out of their business.

    No education for girls. Woman not allowed to be checked by a male doctor. How can a country have a female doctor when girls are not sent to school ? My daughter's classmate, a Muslim girl who studied in a Catholic English medium school and later graduated, was often beaten by her husband. When my daughter asked her why she is not going to police station,she said, "what to do, our religion allows husbands to beat wives once in a while". The progress of a country is measured by the rights, respect, privileges and empowerment of women. This country is going to be a hell for women. I lament that in India, such like minded people are living.

    Modi and Amith Bai should drop these Taliban supporters with their entire family, ration wealth etc at Afghanistan. Let these supporters help them in Poppy Cultivation,Arms trade etc. and eke their living there. They can give as much knowledge as possible to the Talibans on how to rule, live and let others live in their country peacefully. Will Modi do it? He can do it, only if he shuns fascism and magnanimity towards these religious fanatics.

    PFI, Kasargod....i am scared that they wont trouble our Kashmir? Really tensed situation. Govt of India, takes so much trouble to bring back our stranded people ...For us, it looks easy...But, in reality its very difficult. Little eased as long as our US force is there, things work little better. But, to bring the people till the air force flight, so many procedures and tensions. Anyway, may almighty bless our govt...airforce personnel, US force, our officials there and each and everyone who shed their sweat 😓 to bring back our people....🙏🙏🙏...Lets not see the party. Lets all join our govt and support it ...at least one prayer...

    How to check the reality? If it's true, you will see people thronging to go there for there's prosperity, peace and happiness. Like people run to, Gulf and western countries.     Many Sunni groups around the world are in a celebratory mood at the Taliban "win" and the American "loss". Such a reaction is completely pointless, as the new Taliban's survival as a political force is dependent on the largesse of the Western world - which is led by USA. Afghanistan will not be able to make much progress economically without the IMF and World Bank providing funds. The narcotic trade and the Chinese help will be double-edged swords. The Chinese may invest in the country in return of the mineral rights - in which case ordinary Afghans will remain very poor. So, yes, Taliban has NOT "won" and the Americans have NOT "lost". Game two on the chess board has just begun.

    Like most in power, keeping Afghan populace poor would suit the Taliban as they would get a continuous supply of people ready to die for them. The mineral income got from China will only go to a few at the top and to fund the military needs.
