A mere look at the picture and one can get an idea that the quality of the rail is compromised and not top class. With the entire railway network going under the hammer at a rapid privatisation the quality will be sacrificed. With only a single track laid to run services (for down and up through line) one can imagine the crushing load the rail tracks are bearing, added to that the constant climatic change resulting in expansion and contraction. One wishes and prays that there will not be a major catastrophe resulting in loss of precious lives due to the shoddy upkeep and maintenance.
