Bengaluru: Nalin Kumar Kateel's two years as state BJP president - Grassroot workers get importance

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Aug 27: Nalin Kumar Kateel, who is also an MP, has successfully completed two years as the state BJP president.

Kateel's elevation seemed to drive home the point that even common activists of the party can reach higher positions in the BJP. Kateel has shown his mettle as a good organizer during these two years. At the same time, he has ensured that those who crossed over from other parties do not nurse the feeling that they are outsiders.

Kateel efficiently prepared the ranks of the party to face bypolls in which the party did very well. He travelled all over the state and strengthened the party from the booth level. In the gram panchayat elections held under his guidance, the party recorded a thumping victory. In a nutshell, Kateel's reliance on lower ranks of the party has given the BJP a newfound vigour.

The last couple of years have been very challenging for Nalin in terms of situations like pandemic, political developments and natural disaster. The party has witnessed immense changes under his leadership. Nalin has managed to bring every representative together in strengthening the party all over the state.

When Yediyurappa became the chief minister (CM), Nalin took over the presidentship of state BJP. BJP emerged victorious in the by-elections under his leadership. Several leaders including the then CM Yediyurappa praised the leadership qualities of Nalin.

After Nalin became the state BJP president, the state level executive meeting was held in Mangaluru. CM Basavaraj Bommai also said that Nalin has taken the responsibility of strengthening the party from grass root level.

Readers, grassroot workers, are the " Corner Stones " of any organization. They are real face, of every development programs, who find their way to the most common citizens in our society... BJP was literally a non entity in most states across India, but today, the massive network of committed foot soldiers, have catapulted this party into an absolute power.. Seva Dal were the INC front soldiers, but today we find only apathy, total neglect, these ground workers are sidetracked, humiliated. Sycophants, are ruling the roost in the ailing party !!! The inevitable sad scenario of a rudderless party is right before the nation !!!

There is something in "Naleen Kumar" that his seniors trust him. Probably his senior leaders don't feel threatened by him. Looks like he is a 'destiny child' and not a very ambitious person.

Whatever BJP haters and anti Nalin soothsayers say against him on DW, one thing is clear. This guy is down to earth and is a ferocious fighter. Kateel's won LS seat of our city three times continuously, that too with increasing margins each time! He's also got his feet to the ground and content being a party foot soldier rather than ministerial ambitions. As State President of party, he's done well! Wish him best!

He is not even fit to be a village panchayat ugrani. It is your communal mentality voted on caste and creed basis. Nalin being an M.P of Mangalore and Shobha from Udupi is nothing but fools paradise! But are incompetant for our educated region. Their development contribution is zero but both of them think that are highly qualified but can't speak in simple one sentence in Indian Parliament in Hindi our national language. Forget in English ......lesser said the better. People of Udupi and Mangalore are ashamed except hindu fanatics(Indian Taliban) like you.

Hindi is not a national language, it is one of the fifteen languages that has equal right. Speaking in Kannada does lower your dignity. There are any number politicians who have occupied the top post without knowing hindi
