Mangaluru: Common entrance tests begin on positive note in DK

Mangaluru, Aug 28: The common entrance test (CET) which determines the eligibility of PU students to professional courses, is being held all over the state on Saturday August 28 and Sunday August 29. In Dakshina Kannada (DK), the test is being held in 19 centres.

The tests are being held in the morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday. On Saturday, the exams will be held at 10.30 am to 11.50 am in the morning and from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm in the afternoon. On Sunday, examination in Kannada will be held for border area students in two centres from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Presence of the pandemic has not dented the spirits of the students taking the tests. A large number of students have appeared for the test. The centres have been following the Covid rules strictly and those who have tested positive for coronavirus are provided with the facility to take the exam in separate rooms.
