Mumbai: Srikrishnastami celebrated at Pejavar math with traditional devotion and fervour

Mumbai, Sep 1: Poornaprajna Vidhyapeeta Prathistana and Pejavar math Mumbai celebrated Srikrishnastami at Madhva Bhavan, Santacruz east with traditional devotion and fervour on August 30 and August 31.

The celebrations were held with the blessings, inspiration and guidance of Udupi Pejavar math seer Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamy, observing Covid protocol.

Religious rituals were held from morning till midnight. Children celebrated wearing costumes of Radha and Krishna.

Pejavar math Mumbai management official Prakash Acharya Ramakunja, Srihari Bhat Puthige, Niranjan Gogte, religious leader Srinivas Bhat Parel, priests and devotees were present. The priests of the temple held Dahi Handi celebrations singing Govinda Halare Hala.
