Hey North east friends... nice to see you all together like this. Myself working in Bangalore and studied in Manipal. As students we few north east students were meeting often and we were thinking to have such organisation. You guys are really luck. At that time no one was there to bring us together and to support us. May I request SPARSHA leaders to start a NEST branch here in Bangalore? We are facing lots of problems regarding food. We are interested to start our own hostel kind arrangement specially for North East students here. Also you guys should take Tibetian magrants along. They need your help. NEST is BEST. ha..ha...

Good to know these very creative activities of SPARSHA. I am the ex MSW student and I did my first year field work with them. I find lot of social concern in all activities of them. I specially like SPARSHA because it is led by all youngsters. All of them work elsewhere and still they manage this social service centre in a very professional way. As students we were actively participating in many Malaria eradication programmes, helping widows, destitutes, and handicap people to get government pension through SPARSHA. North East students should fight against drugs in campus of Mangalore and around which is a very important activity.(my suggestion and request) NEST keep rocking!!

It is really interesting to find North East students in Mangalore are organised for meaningful purpose. SPARSHA is doing really great activities. Earlier I had approached SPARSHA for an important counselling assistance for my neighbour youth who was desperate in life. And that was the time, when these SPARSHA leaders went out of way and helped him. I feel more and more North East students should take part in such organisations.
