Bengaluru: Minister to offer Pindas for peace of deceased Covid patients

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 1: State revenue minister R Ashok, who had performed the funeral rites of the bodies of the unclaimed Covid patients during the Covid second wave, and had discharged the ashes of the cremation sites in holy rivers, is undertaking another such feat now.

As no claimants could be found for the 1,200 Covid19 patients who died, the minister now plans to perform Vishnu Shraddha, a procedure seeking eternal bliss for the departed souls, during the Pitr Paksha this month.

During the Covid second wave, no one was coming forward to perform the funeral of the deceased because of the deep-rooted fear. So, the bodies were cremated by the staff manning different graveyards. No one came to collect the ashes from the cremation grounds. Therefore, Ashok will be performing the Pinda Pradanam to satisfy the departed souls and to seek the blessings of the gods to make sure that the deceased attain divine positions.

Minister to offer Pindas for peace of deceased Covid patients. Why you did not helped when they were without food, cloth, and shelter? Stop all this bullshit and clean your soul, heart, and mind. All people who died due to covid are in God's custody.
