Sullia: Warrant on D K Shivakumar - Court appearance on October 5

Sullia, Oct 4: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar will attend a court hearing at 11.30 am on October 5 as a witness with regards to a telephonic conversation case that was held between him and Sai Giridhar, a resident of Bellare six years ago.

Shivakumar was served summons three times by the court to attend the hearing in the case. The judge considered the offence of not attending the hearing, though a warrant was served on September 29, seriously had issued one more warrant and also asked the top officials of the police department to produce Shivakumar to the court. Accordingly Shivakumar will attend the hearing and give witness on the case.

In a statement, PA of Shivakumar said that the KPCC president will leave Bengaluru international airport at 7.25 am on October 5 and reach Mangaluru airport. He will reach Sullia at 11.30 to attend the court hearing. In the afternoon he will visit Kukke Subramanya temple at 12.30 pm. He will leave Kukke at 3 pm and reach Mangaluru at 5 pm. Shivakumar will return back to Bengaluru at 8 pm from Mangaluru airport.
