Action as per law against organisers of Durga Daud programme, assures Udupi DC

Udupi, Oct 21: Deputy commissioner (DC) Kurma Rao on Thursday October 21 informed that as per the law action will be taken against the organisers of Durga Daud programme, held in Udupi.

He further said, “Case has been already registered against Durga Daud programme. It will be investigated as per law.”

Speaking on ministers and MLA taking part in the programme, the DC said, "Once a complaint is registered, action will be taken as per the law."

He also said that the public should adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines and imposing fines to those who violate the guidelines will continue. People should be cautious and more courageous, he said.
