Bantwal’s Venilla Manikantan secures two gold medals in Silambam competition

Bantwal, Oct 22: Venilla Manikantan has secured two gold medals under category of double stick and wall vichu in national level competition of Silambam held in Visakhapatnam on October 21 and 22 and brought laurels to the state. Also, she has been selected for the international level competition.

Venilla Manikantan is pursuing her MTech in NITK. She is student of Rajesh Brahmarakotlu. She is daughter of Sumathi Hoohakuvakallu in Mudipu and Nelakanta. She pursuing her training in martial arts at Ramakrishna Tapovana in Polali.

She is also training in Karate, Judo and Silambam. Sri Viveka Chaitanyananda Swamiji congratulated her on her achievement.
