Puttur, Oct 28: ‘Bhajrangi-2’, a film with huge expectations in the Kannada film industry will be released on October 29. It is a matter of pride that a great talent from Puttur will be seen in the main role along with hat-trick hero Shivanna in the film.
Prasanna Bagina, son of Puttur resident Narayana Gowda and Bhagirathi, will be seen as Jargava, opposite to actor Shiva Rajkumar in the film. The costumes of Prasanna seen in the trailer glorify his part. His brother Raj Gopal is employed as the government employee at Puttur Vidhan Saudha. His sister Chandralekha has got married and has gone to Udupi.
Prasanna who got educated in the Puttur Vivekananda English medium school continued his education at Vivekananda polytechnic. He has been inclined to acting since his school days. He was employed at Puttur’s Arvi Inter Graphics for some time before working at Wipro, Mysuru. A friend who observed his 6 feet 3 inches height suggested him to be a film hero. He subsequently acted in petty roles in several films over the last seven years. His acting in KGF, Mufti, Kirik party and other films has upheld his capacity. He has also acted in TV serials. His acting as the father of child Hanuman in the Jai Hanuman serial has won the hearts of audiences. He has also acted in Ughe Ughe Kannada serial in Zee TV. He is acting as the villain against Shivanna for the first time.
Prasanna said that working opposite Shivanna in the film is his fortune. Speaking to a newspaper he said that he grew up watching the films of Shivanna during his school and college days. "I have received the role of Jargava opposite Shivanna due to Harsha master. I have practiced for three months for it. I look taller than my height because of the amazing make up and costumes by Prakash. Shivanna appreciated my costumes in the film. I have had two hours of make up before each shooting."
'Bhajrangi-2' is bound to be a success due to climax scenes and technology in the film that was not found so far. Prasanna has requested the audience to watch the film and encourage the boy from Puttur.
