Bengaluru: 'State SC Morcha president has converted into Christianity' - BJP leader

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 8: BJP SC Morcha former national general secretary, Chi Na Ramu, has alleged that he has heard that his brother Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, who happens to be Karnataka state BJP SC Morcha president, has converted into Christianity. He said he is utterly shocked by this information.

Ramu said that even after getting converted, Narayanswamy skilfully concealed this information, misled the BJP leaders, and by cheating them, joined the SC Morcha with which he has no connection. "He secretly visits the church every Sunday and offers prayers there. He changed his religion after marrying a Christian girl. His children too were married to Christians and the entire family is ardently following Christianity," are the allegations on Narayanaswamy which I have come across. His family, close ones and relatives too confirm that this is true, Ramu added.

Ramu said that this is quite surprising and worrying development. He accused his brother of doing all this clandestinely and this is a matter which can give rise to indignation among the BJP workers, he stated.

Ramu said that he had no objection Narayanaswamy was the follower of Christianity since the beginning. But he got converted not only himself but also his family, and maintained this a guarded secret. We are opposed to this, like every BJP worker and Hindu. Hinduism is a religion that has shown the light of way to the world and is a model for the entire mankind, he explained.

Ramu urged Chalavadi Narayanswamy, if it is true that he is secretly following Christianity, to immediately retract his steps and return to Hinduism. "On the other hand, he has to admit having cheated the party, seek apology from the leaders, and if the leaders pardon him, then join the minority morcha. He can declare that he is a Hindu by visiting the Gangamma shrine near the BJP state office, Circle Maramma temple nearby and Annamma temple where he has to offer puja along with family members," he demanded. If the family is following Christianity, the entire family should immediately return to Hinduism and follow the party policies and principles, he demanded.

Ramu said that religious conversion is a bane that has been harming Hinduism. He pointed out that party MLA Goolihatti Shekhar, had mentioned in the assembly about his mother having been converted and got her back into Hinduism.

"I am hurt by the allegations against my brother Chalavadi Narayanaswamy. I want him to give a fitting reply to his opponents. Let us together face the allegations and bring out the truth. Let me accompany your family to all thief temples to offer puja. I will arrange for the puja. After hearing the allegation, as a Hindu and Dalit, I have undergone lot of pain. Therefore, having been unable to bear the agony, I am making this public appeal. Let us bring out the truth and silence our detractors," he pleaded.

Conversions to Christianity will take place in India and around the world not matter how hard one may try to stop it. Another high level convert is L.K Advani's sister and brother in law Gul Kriplani, they have converted to Christianity a few years ago. In Mumbai over 30,000 Sindhi's have converted to Christianity in the past few years and presently it is spreading like wild fire in Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. There's one strange thing about Christianity. If you leave it alone and don't put any pressure on it, it lies low and the conversion rate drops too drops to a very, very low levels. But the moment you put pressure on the church, and persecute its members conversion rates go up and Christianity begins to spread very rapidly.

People, There is lot of suspicion on Voluntary Conversion in India....best thing to do to avoid any suspicion is to make the person who want to convert to go to a magistrate and record his statement...about his willingness to convert without any fear or favor...or inducement... I know this is not necessary as per Constitution of India....however once this is done....nobody can question his / her Conversion... Where is my Dhobi Ghat friend Bobbato Charlie???... ...Tak...Takk...

Ramu must think the voters of Karnataka are idiots. When did Naryanaswamy marry the Christian girl?Does Ramu expect people to believe he just discovered Narayanswamy converted to Christianity? What is causing family members of BJP politicians to convert suddenly to Christianity? Somebody needs to investigate the strange phenomenon.

No religion is bad.. It is because of their ignorance about their faith and teachings people change their religion, People should understand those christian pastors do majority of conversions, catholic church has no role in that, Jesus Christ himself was a Jew,,,he never forced or lured anyone into christianity...

Why this conversion racket happens only in BJP ruled states.?????…. Is it because BJP encourages and supports these activities. Never heard of conversions in Non-BJP ruled states neither does the opposition BJP in Non-BJP ruled questions and raises objection and sit on Dharna and in protest. Now BJP is helping convert their own, dear and near ones. BTW, where this person got converted and what process he went through?????... Does he have a baptismal certificate from church register, if so he should display it to the public media?????….

Veer Nagpur, why he should immediately display his certificate?Naturally when one is baptized, normally it is registered in churches and will be signed to by a witness.Just tell me why he should show to others? Why shouldnt a catholic in BJP Party?Iam sure his brother knew these things long back. But now for some reasons he is vomiting venom?why should brother is attending church secretly?Noone should fear to practice his religion .I dont see any connection between religion and Politic.Politic is a service for the public ,Religion is personal practice in daily life. Now noone need to dance because his brothers religios changes.

Chi Na Ramu , dont bring your family matter in the public. People are not bothered whather your brother and his family converted into Christianity or any other religion. Hindu religion is all inclusive. But can you enetr all temples and perform pooja? Can you sit with the upper class people and have your meal? So dont bring all that nonsense about conversion in the public inorder to please RSS/BJP leaders. Talk about corruption, unemployment, Bitcoins etc.

Christianity is not a political party nor a community, Christians can be Hindu or of any creed or cast. There are several Hindu Christians. Hinduism is a society and language. Christian is one who intends to follow Christ and his teachings and proper way of living. Even Christians can follow and study any religion. It is our meanness to argue on religion. All the religions are one and the same advising humanity. First, let us learn to live in humanity. During a natural disaster, pandemic or any other calamities, no one asks religion, caste, or creed. We help each other as humans why then we should argue or create an unfavourable situation raising unwanted questions against one will and wish?

If a Hindu converts to Christianity, the Hindu does not need to apologize but it would be a good gesture to style himself as a Hindu Christian because Hinduism is both a religion and a culture. Most original Catholics belonged to the Hindu faith and in some ways they indicate their culture by adopting Hindu names but are fervent Christians. Christianity is a universal religion, not confined to one country like India. Islam too is a universal religion.

This idiot thinks that he can further his own status on BJP ladder by selling his brothers conversion story in media. So what if is brother has converted to any religion? He is an adult and constitution gives him the right to join the religion of his choice. BJP is now so desperate to get votes by stirring up communal hatred, they will stoop to any level to disturb the harmony among different communities Only way India can survive is by sending people like this guy to the hole he comes from.

This is purely choice of any Individual and there is no need to drag politics into it. The BJP leader should see what is happening in Iran. Not one Christian raised any objections to the much touted Ghar Wapasi programme. We were happy for those who returned to Hinduism if that meant happiness forthem. It is high time we stop being petty minded on these issues.

Word of God is like two edged sword. That sword is pure love of Jesus. JESUS had 12 disciples who are mostly fishermen. Today more than 150 Countries believing in Lord Jesus and leading a happy and prosperous life. It is lord Jesus who changed World. Modern Democracy, Human rights etc are gift of Christian faith. Since Jesus is a historical person at least we must read the Bible. Which is highest selling book for more than 2000 years.
