Dubai, Nov 11: The highly anticipated first look of the poster of Tulu movie ‘Soda Sharbath’ was unveiled by ‘Private Challenge’ fame duo Aravind Bolar and Walter Nandalike here at Winny's restaurant hall, Karama on Wednesday November 10.
Prior to the poster release, Bolar and Nandalike prepared ‘Soda Sharbath’ along with entrepreneur and artiste Joseph Mathais, Dayan D’Souza, founder, Daiji Rangmandir, Nanu Marol, convenor, Daiji Dubai and Pradeep Barboza Paladka, the director of the movie.
Co-producers of the movie Lancy D’Souza Omzoor, Diany D’Souza Pamboor, Paul D’Souza Paladka, and actors Laveena Fernandes and Ranjitha were present.
Addressing the gathering, Aravind Bolar said, “I have known Pradeep for many years. I had acted in his drama too. I am a permanent member of all his movie based projects. I think this is an honour for me. Now Pradeep has come up with ‘Soda Sharbath’ with a bang. Reputed artistes from Mangaluru and Dubai have acted in this movie. Now it is our duty to watch the movie and support Pradeep and the entire team. I have heard that the movie will be premiering in Dubai only. So I am requesting people from Tulunadu who reside in the UAE to visit theatres in large numbers and spread the news after watching the movie."
Wishing the best to the movie team, Walter Nandalike said, “The entire Tulu entertainment industry knows about Pradeep's talent. He is an expert in all departments of movie making. ‘Soda Sharbath’ is his dream project in Tulu language. He has put in a lot of effort behind this project. Now the movie is ready and I am happy to be part of its poster unveiling event. On this occasion, I congratulate him and wish all success for his future projects.”
Thanking the guests and gathering, Pradeep said, “I am grateful to Daiji Rangmandir for giving me the opportunity to unveil my movie's poster. I had a dream of making a movie in Tulu language. Now I am close to fulfilling the dream. My friends Lancy, Diany, Paul and Prashanth helped me in this project as co-producers. Meanwhile, I am grateful to all the artistes, technical team and my supporters in Dubai and India. It is my kind request to all of you, please come to the theatres and watch the movie."
The movie is produced under the banner of PBP Films. Along with direction, Pradeep has written the story and script for the movie.
Tulunada Manikya fame Aravind Bolar, known comedy actor Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Telikeda Bolli fame Devadas Kapikad, Umesh Mijar, Prasanna Bailur Konkani’s well-known actor Mellu Valencia, Laveena Fernandes, Ranjitha, and many others are part of the movie. Melwyn Elpel has worked as the executive producer. Patson Periera has composed music for the movie. The editing part was handled by Ganesh Neerchal. DOP is Santhosh Gumpalaje.
The dubbing, mastering and mixing of the film has been done at Daijiworld Audio Visual, Mangaluru.
