Udupi: Man killed after milk van rams into bike

Udupi, Nov 11: A man died after he was hit by a milk van on Thursday November 11, near Gudde Angadi, Hiriyadka here.

The deceased is identified as Vignesh Poojary, a resident of Chikkalbettu Bailoor. He was working in Manipal Press.

The accident took place when Vignesh was coming from Manipal to Bailoor after finishing his night shift duty. The milk van was moving from Bajagoli to Udupi.

Hiriyadka police station personnel visited the spot and registered a case.

    The license of the that Milk Van driver should be permanently cancelled and he should be sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment owing to negligence. These days many of the 2 wheeler are always under fear of being hit by car or heavy vehicles.
