The Granite arrived safely from Rajasthan till Attavar and waited for its victim for action when he was ready with his camera. Looks like some safety procedure issue before unloading. One life lost in the process and sounds like negligence written all over the episode. Sad.

This is because no safety gear used in construction site. All taken for granted like people do not go vaccine and do not use mask during the pandemic.

Steevan, Mlore/Kuwaiut... In a country with too much democracy, it is very difficult. If government makes the things strict (example COVID 1st wave), 90% people blame the government. If the government makes it lenient (example COVID 2nd wave), 90% people blame the government. Is the problem is with government or these 90% public ?

Absolutely. Most section of the society are there just to thrash the Govt. When people dont follow the rules, how can we blame the govt? And when the govt fines for not following the rules, we are the frontrunners to blame the govt. Sad truth.

Kumar Qatar, mistake is from both sides Strict rules should be made regarding safety. When safety rules are not followed ,then punish one who dont follow and who doesnt apply. Here the safety was not followed by the lorry who brought slabs .why they were not fixed so that dont slip away ?One granite slab cant jump out when sides were not fixed .Sad a innocent person had to leave his life .who gives his family any help now ?Either construction family or mainly who didnt fix the slabs have to pay the family .May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.

This is an eye opener for construction field who insist their employees to work for them under extreme pressure like a bonded labor this needs to be changed. Here safety of a individual is neglected. A special investigation team must be implemented to ensure proper safety
