Bantwal, Nov 27: A car hit and seriously injured a school boy who was returning home after the school hours. The incident happened at Mani here on Saturday November 27, when the boy was crossing the road at Mani, Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway.

The injured boy was Bharath, a resident of Kodaje. He is tenth standard student of Karnataka high school. The car which was approaching from Mani to Uppinangady rammed into the boy.
