A J Hospital Paediatric Department Holds Children's Day

Mangalore, Nov 17: The department of paediatrics, A J Institute of Medical Sciences and Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing in association with Indian Academy of Paediatrics, DK branch jointly organized ‘Children's Day’ under the banner ‘IAP Child and Adolescent Care Week’ at the hospital.

Dr Santhosh Soans, professor and head of the department of paediatrics and vice-president –central IAP was the chief guest. Dr Saleem Hanchinal, medical superintendent of A J Institute of Medical Sciences presided.

Child care week related activities like school health check-up, well baby show at Nisarga Play School, drawing competitions and seminars were arranged during the programme.
