I wanted to sell some unwanted furniture on Olx and fed the details in the site. Immediately I got a call from a man working in Defence. He readily agreed for the price and said he would send his representative to collect the item and transfer the money to my account and wanted the account details. I asked him to send cash with his rep while collecting the item. He refused and disconnected! Luckily I knew the modus operandi of swindlers and was cautious. This I am sharing to caution my friends in Daijiworld.

Better to deal in demand drafts for high value and cash for smaller transactions. Keep a separate bank account for debit ( not credit) card and keep some amount in it as required. This way you limit the loss if any. Any account can be hacked, apart from other methods like QR code, asking for PIN , updating of KYC etc. Be safe it is our hard earned money. If someone quotes urgency, just disconnect the call. A trip to your bank should not bother you.
