Mangalore: Local Policemen to Get Custody of Madoor Isubu?

Mangalore, Dec 8: There are indications that the district policemen will get custody of underworld fugitive, Madoor Isubu, on Wednesday December 8.
Madoor Isubu alias Yusuf (32) had been arrested by the Interpol sleuths from Riyadh airport on August 1 this year, on charges of possessing fake passport. The policemen from the district had been trying for his extradition relating to several cases registered against him here.
Sources in the police department indicated that he would be brought here by a team of policemen, and that a team led by Dakshina Kannada superintendent of police, Dr Subrahmanyeshwar Rao, has left for New Delhi in this connection.
However, officially, the department has not confirmed anything so far in this regard. There are 18 criminal cases against Isubu here, which include murder of BJP leader, Sukhanand Shetty, and Candle Santu, among others.
