Mangalore Gets Top Class 'La Oasis' Restaurant at Pio Mall

Mangalore, Dec 10: ‘La Oasis’, which the management claims to be an oasis of food in the city, equipped with great ambience and courteous services, was inaugurated by A Sadananda Shetty, chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust, at Pio Mall, Bejai Church Road here, on Thursday December 9.
In his inaugural address, Shetty said that Lancy Mascarenhas has been a highly successful entrepreneur, and extended best wishes for his future endeavours.
Fr Godfrey L A Saldanha, parish priest, St Joseph The Worker Church, Neermarga, Fr George Santhumayor, OCD, superior, Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, and Fr Peter Cyprian D’Souza, superior, St Anne’s Friary in the city, invoked the blessings of the Lord for the three outlets of the restaurant, viz., Appetite, Oasis and Oasis roof garden.
State minister Krishna J Palemar, K C Nayak, Mahabaleshwara Promoters and Builders Pvt Ltd, and K S Balachandra Rao, deputy general manager of Canara Bank Mangalore circle office, participated as chief guests.
The new restaurant boasts of finest spread of exotic cuisines, innovative design and ambience, well-equipped modern kitchen, qualified and experienced staff, casual and elegant dining, restaurant, and a fast food outlet.
Lancy Mascarenhas and Jacinta Mascarenhas, proprietors, were present on the occasion. Lesley Rego compered the programme.
‘La-Oasis’, the contemporary fine dining that has been set up at Pio Mall, will be open for public from 7 pm onwards on Friday, December 10.
