White Doves Bring in Christmas Gusto with Mobile Street Shows

Mangalore, Dec 12: The White Doves with this year’s Christmas preparations enthralled the Christmas season at Fr Muller’s Hospital on Saturday December 11. The White Doves have been enthralling the Christmas season over the last few years spreading the message of peace and joy in their mobile tableaux.
The White Doves with their mobile tableaux spotlighting the birth of Jesus came to move hearts and minds of people. The language used while propagating the Christmas message backed by music enlivened the Christmas mood. The artistic display has actors posing in authentic costumes and the performance itself was stunning and captured the hearts and minds of the beholder.
More than 150 performers performed. Several costumed ‘Santas’ danced to jingle bells cheered the people especially children by flinging candies.
White Doves have undertaken this human work in Mangalore, inspired by the teachings of Christ and the life of Mother Teresa and reflecting that service to needy humans is to serve and worship the Supreme.
Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator, FMMC delivered the vote of thanks. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, the chief guest at the stage programme delivered the Christmas message to the audience.
Christmas Bulletin 2010 book was released on the occasion. Fr Richard Coelho, administrator, FMMC was the guest of honor.
Dr Sanjeeva Rai released te 2011 calendar of FMMC.
Dr J P Alva, dean of FMMC, Sr Jecintha, principal of Father Muller College of Nursing, Sr Aileen Mathias, superintendent of nursing college, Sister Sylvia, superior, St Vincent Convent, Fr Maxim Furtado, Fr Vincent Saldanha and Fr Felix Monteiro were present.
The White Doves group chief secretary Corine Rasquinha and Wites Rasquinha welcomed the gathering. Kins of patients, staffs, students and others were present.
