Panaji, Jan 21: Former union minister and AICC senior election observer Chidambaram will be held responsible if BJP forms government once again in Goa in the coming elections said TMC.

Abhishek Banerjee, MP and general secretary of national party of TMC said that their party national vice-president had met Chidambaram in December with offer of alliance. He denied the claim of Chidambaram that TMC did not give any concrete offer.

Banerjee asked Congress keep its status and ego aside and form alliance with TMC as time is fast running out. He said that Chidambaram will have to take the blame if the Goa elections will be won by BJP.

As of now Congress has joined hands with GFP and TMC with MGP. Bannerjee asked Congress to come to the table first and discuss other points later.

Bannerjee also quashed rumours that Luizinho Faleiro, national vice president of the party is not happy of being asked to contest from Fatorda. He said that Faleiro met him yesterday and he did not say any word on the topic. He will be fighting against Vijai Sardesai, chief betrayer in the state. According to Banerjee Sardesai needs to be defeated and taken out from his position.
