Bantwal: Elderly woman killed in car-auto rickshaw collision

Bantwal, Feb 6: An elderly woman was killed when the auto rickshaw she was travelling collided with a car in Subbakodi near Amturu here on Sunday, February 6.

The deceased has been identified as Devaki (70), a resident of Murabail in Kalladka. It is said that the impact of the collision was so strong that Devaki was flung out of the auto rickshaw killing her on the spot.

  

Auto driver Bhoja Moolya was injured in the accident. 

Both the vehicles were damaged but the inmates of the car escaped without any injury. The Bantwal traffic police has registered a case.
