Mangalore: Markaz Prachara Sammelana of Sunni Ulema Attracts Crowd

Mangalore, Dec 25:
A P Abubakar Musliyar, the national general secretary of Federation of Sunni Ulema said that Markaz education institutions have been sheltering orphans and poor people. With this they have become a centre of upholding communal harmony and humanity with providing education, he stressed.

He was speaking as the chief guest at “Markaz Prachara Sammelana” at Adyar Kannur Rajesh Ground here on Friday December 24 organized to popularize the 33rd annual convention and 15th convocation of the MSS which is scheduled to be held on January 7, 8 and 9, 2011 at Karanthur in Calicut.
 
He called upon everyone to participate in the historic convention at Calicut.
 
Usman Mitthoor, Chairman of Markazul Huda Women’s College, Puttur presided.

Prachara Sammelana was inaugurated by Bekal P M Ibrahim Musliyar, khazi of Udupi and president of Federation of Karnataka Sunni Ulema.

Thousands of people attended the evening programme and Sunni Ulema from across Karnataka and Kerala were present.
 
D K Umar Sakhafi Kambalabettu welcomed the gathering.
