Couple heading to Madikeri escorted away by Sullia police

Sullia, Feb 10: After getting information that a lady was going to Madikeri along with a friend belonging to another religion, the Sullia police asked them to alight from the bus, took them to Sullia police station and then handed them over to the Dharmasthala police.

Reportedly, both of them work for a private firm in Mangaluru. The girl's family got the information that she was going to Madikeri with her friend, who is a Christian. The family members reportedly got in touch with Dharmasthala police.

In turn, the Dharmasthala police contacted the Sullia police seeking help. The Sullia police then identified the bus the two were travelling by, and took the duo with them to the station once the bus reached the bus stand. They were then handed over to the Dharmasthala police.
