Arthur Pereira Omzoor's Pani Pani Barsa Tulu Musical Album to be Released on Jan 1

Mangalore, Dec 28: 'Pani Pani Barsa,' Tulu album of Arthur Pereira Omzoor will be released at Milagres Senate Hall on Saturday January 1 here at 11.30 am. The city-based Maa Creations are the producers of the album.
Professor Amruth Someshwar, well-known Kannada-Tulu littérateur will be the chief guest.
UAE Bunts' Association and Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangh president Sarvottam Shetty, Mumbai’s Sangeet Abhinay Academy director Fr Charles Vas SVD, www.daijiworld.com editor-in-chief Walter D’Souza Nandalike, Udayavani city bureau chief Manohar Prasad, popular dramatist and playwright Devdas Kapikad, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy registrar Chandrahas Rai and Dubai based Merit Freight Private Limited’s managing director Joseph Mathias will be the guests of honour.
Naveen Koppa, Joseph Mathias and group will stage a musical programme between 10.30 am and 11.30 am.
Arthur Pereira is an accomplished Kannada-Konkani-Tulu poet. He also serves as guest artiste in Akashwani in the city. He has composed lyrics for Kazaar, Konkani movie that was released in 2009. He has also bagged state-level Samaja Ratna that was presented by the then governor Dr T N Chaturvedi in 2005.
His Konkani collection of poems – 'Thiem Dhookha Ulythana' (When Tears Speak) was published in 2007. He had also contributed for Kannada poetry – 'Taare Yenisi Mottha Heli' along with others besides Konkani
poetry - 'Tara Ani Motiyam.' It was published in both e-media and print media.
Arthur Pereira has also bagged nominations for Best Lyricist in Global Music Award for his Konkani album 'Taaram.'
After the mega success of 'Taaram,' Maa Creations will launch their second venture – 'Pani Pani Barsa.' It contains melodious songs composed by Arthur Pereira and sung by playback singers Anuradha Bhat, Hemanth, Harsha Usha Kokila, Manjunath, Subramanyam along with Raviraj Tantry and Joseph Mathias. Sandalwood popular music director Cajetan Dias is the music director of 'Pani Pani Barsa.' Sandalwood musicians Alwyn Fernandes, Butto and Saju have also contributed their music.
The Album has been recorded at Eden Diji Studio, Bangalore and mixing and balancing has been done at Dynamic Studio, Bangalore.
NRI entrepreneur Ronald Colaco is the main sponsor of the album.
